Advocate Christ Medical Center offers a rigorous PMSR-RRA residency program with a wide range of surgical exposure at a level one Trauma medical center and children’s hospital. Residents have the opportunity to cover in-house management at Advocate Christ Medical Center and Advocate Children’s Hospital, as well as eight other locations in the surrounding area. The program emphasizes a large volume of surgical procedures, exceeding CPME residency requirements, under the guidance of podiatric and orthopedic attendings. In addition to clinical experience, residents participate in didactic training, including journal clubs, case reviews, board reviews, cadaver workshops, and surgical equipment labs. The program requires residents to take on significant responsibility, including night call, trauma call, and ER call, and emphasizes integrity. The program offers a competitive salary, benefits, and training experience.
