The program, which has been running since 1989, is now a 36-month residency and has one entry-level position available for the Match. Residents have access to a large urban university hospital system with three hospitals for non-podiatric rotations, foot and ankle surgery, and podiatric clinics. There are elective options available for the second and third years and residents receive excellent salary and benefits. Graduates are well-prepared for their own practices, and most have been successful. Philadelphia offers a wide range of cultural and entertainment activities, including museums, historical sites, and restaurants.
