Underrated

March 22, 2025

I really loved this program. All attendings teach and allow residents to do most if not the entire case. I’ve noticed that certain weeks have more surgical load than others and they do double scrub. I haven’t seen them triple scrub as the previous comment stated. Residents also helped each other and they worked well as a group. Hopefully, they get more surgical cases to fill out the week and with so many residents but it is good that they also have exposure to clinic and billing side of things. Overall, a solid program with good training and residents. Definitely underrated

Mostly good

I really loved the attendings here. The seem to really care about the residents. My only complaint if I have one is that they seem to coddle the residents too much. The 2nd and 3rd year residents didn’t seem as confident as I would have hoped and there was more double and even triple scrubbing than I would have expected or wanted. Overall pretty good program.
