Community Medical Center is a 592-bed hospital that has been providing superior medical treatment to Ocean County and its surrounding areas for over 60 years. Apart from serving over 28,000 inpatients and 127,700 outpatients every year, the hospital also offers residency programs in various medical fields, including podiatry. The Community Medical Center Podiatric Residency Program provides extensive training in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, trauma surgery, elective foot surgery, and limb salvage. Residents participate in research and studies and benefit from a strong didactic curriculum. The program also offers four weeks of vacation per year and $1,500 for conferences/travel and $1,000 for book allowances per year.
