The podiatric residency program in Phoenix, Arizona offers a unique training experience where 1st-year residents work with general surgery services. The program provides equitable training to allopathic and osteopathic residents, with one-month rotations in various specialties. Residents work at a Level I Trauma Center and Arizona Burn Center and have the opportunity to rotate through podiatric and orthopedic specialties. A developed research curriculum is available during the 2nd year of training, and an extensive didactic curriculum prepares students for future residency training.
