The Crozer Health Podiatric Medicine Surgical Residency program in Upland, PA is an exceptional three-year program. Residents receive comprehensive training in all aspects of podiatric surgery and medicine, including limb salvage, forefoot training, and trauma. During their second year, residents get a 2-month rotation at the International Center for Limb Lengthening in Baltimore, MD, where they are exposed to the management of complex limb deformities by world-renowned orthopedic surgeons. The program also offers various benefits, including YMCA membership, disability insurance, and yearly education stipends of $2,000. Additionally, residents can earn extra stipends for their educational presentations. In terms of things to do, Upland is a charming small town that offers plenty of outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and biking. The nearby Ridley Creek State Park is a great place for picnicking and camping, and there are also several golf courses and museums to explore.
