This isn’t what you think it is
DVA Illiana has a lot of big changes ahead of it. On paper, the program is located out of Danville, IL but truly the program is at OSF Peoria, IL. As a student, I spent all of my time in Danville but soon after realized that my experience as a student will be completely different than that as a resident. Surgical experience will be on 10. Environment is on 10. Like all other places, this place is what you make it. Students: VISIT!
Typical VA chip and clip with little sx
We did not get many surgery oppurtunities and as a student we pretty much got to do examinations (annuals and others). Got into the OR once for the month. So pretty typical of a VA with lots of clinic time and minimal surgery however the environment was healthy and good thus the 4 stars
Good
