Dr. Kurter was great

January 1, 2024

Attendings/Residents/Students (lifestyle, criticism, aura):

Dr. D – great and fun guy to be around. He was always telling jokes and was very pleasant. however i think he is looking to retire

Dr. Elington – administrative/secretaries work is what she seemed to be doing most of outside of that did not see much else

Dr. Kurter- great doctor and was always willing to help and teach he was a kent state alumni and was always a pleasure to work with a major plus to the program with him there (also heard he is great at FF procedures)

Residents- all great to work with and were a solid unit

Didactics: had to present on a topic of choice other than that not much academics through the month however whenever you had a question all the docs were great about explanations

OR Experience: none and the only negative thing i had to say about the program-lots of outside rotations to get numbers

Clinic Experience: lots of clinic we called it cutting the cheese… it was fun and they allowed me to do all that i was comfortable with doing along with treatment plan and teaching. the residents were all great in clinic and I got to learn a lot watching them

Research Opportunities: n/a

City Life: madison is an underrgrad city so it was a bit busy and young life all over

Favorite Part: Dr. Kurter was a great teacher and fun all around would love to work with him some day. Also felt as if their was not pressure to perform or say/act a particular way they were all nice and were good to build confidence

Constructive Criticism: allow students into OR so we can see how the residents perform
