The program offers comprehensive surgical training with a high volume of quality procedures and a great relationship with orthopedic surgeons. Attendings include fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeons with daily morning didactics and monthly workshops. They also offer guest lectures and a high emphasis on research. In addition, residents will have good exposure to wound care at affiliated hospital-based wound healing centers. Youngstown, Ohio offers various attractions such as the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheater, Fellows Riverside Gardens, and the Butler Art Institute.
