The Franciscan Health System offers a robust residency program in Federal Way, Washington, with residents completing over 350 procedures per year, including a significant number of rearfoot and ankle reconstructions and trauma cases. The program boasts a diverse group of attending staff members, many of whom are qualified or certified in rearfoot and ankle surgery, and features ten active committee members. A sports medicine rotation is also mandatory, and residents are expected to present their research at regional meetings. Outside of the program, Federal Way offers plenty of activities, including visiting the Pacific Bonsai Museum, hiking in the Dash Point State Park, and exploring the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden.
