The PMSR/RRA program at Huntington Hospital in the heart of Huntington, NY, is a well-rounded program that offers extensive training in forefoot/rearfoot surgery, diabetic wound care, and limb preservation, with an emphasis on reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. The program has a strong relationship with Orthopedics and offers diverse rotations with an Orthopedic Foot and Ankle specialist. Residents have access to lecture series and research opportunities with Hofstra Medical School and the Feinstein Institute. The program is approved by CPME and offers a Fellowship in Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Huntington offers various attractions, including the Heckscher Museum of Art, Caumsett State Park, and the Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery and Aquarium.
