The Kaiser SF Bay Area Foot & Ankle Residency Program is a 3-year PMSR/RRA that trains future leaders in podiatric medicine and surgery. Based out of San Francisco, Oakland, and Walnut Creek, the program offers high-quality training in all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery. Residents complete rotations in foot and ankle surgery at each site, including Oakland, with an emphasis on foot and ankle reconstruction, limb salvage, Charcot reconstruction, pediatrics, and trauma. Residents also get to explore Oakland and take calls for all foot and ankle emergencies and general orthopedics. The program provides a comprehensive learning experience in a multidisciplinary setting, with the opportunity to develop leadership skills in podiatric medicine and surgery.
