The residency program at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Vallejo is a consortium with KP Medical Centers in Vallejo, Vacaville, San Rafael & Santa Rosa. It offers a highly sought-after 3-year PMSR/RRA with Added Credential that provides comprehensive training in podiatric medicine and surgery, including TAR and Level 2 Trauma. The first-year rotations are completed at Kaiser Vallejo and Vacaville, and the second and third years involve rotations through various Kaiser facilities in four-month blocks. Residents get to explore Vallejo and enjoy various activities and attractions, such as Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Mare Island Naval Shipyard, and the Empress Theatre. The program provides a well-rounded experience combining learning with exploration and prepares residents to become future leaders in the field.
