This podiatry residency program offers the added Credential in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery and is integrated into a teaching hospital. The program’s aim is to provide residents with a strong foundation in medicine and surgery for success in private practice. Cadaver labs, weekly didactic lectures, and journal clubs are part of the program’s educational approach. In addition, residents have ample opportunities to treat patients with diabetic infections and perform reconstructive foot and ankle surgeries. In Brooklyn, residents can enjoy various activities such as exploring Prospect Park, visiting the Brooklyn Museum or Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and trying out the diverse culinary offerings.
