This PMSR program with RRA approval offers a one-year orthopedic trauma rotation at a level-one trauma center in Brooklyn. Residents gain exposure to a wide range of pathologies and scrub over 500 surgical procedures each year. The program has affiliations with multiple NYU Langone hospitals and surgical centers, with residents scrubbing cases from their first year. Past residents have a track record of meeting graduation requirements by their second year. Students who complete a clerkship are given priority during the selection process. There are many things to do in Brooklyn, New York, including visiting the Brooklyn Museum, walking the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, and enjoying the vibrant nightlife and restaurant scene.
