Rochester General Hospital, situated in the picturesque Finger Lakes Region of Western NY, offers a 36-month Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with Rearfoot and Ankle Reconstruction (PMSR/RRA) program approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education. The program provides hands-on and interactive training opportunities where residents learn from top-notch medical and surgical specialists, covering emergency room calls and running a core faculty-based limb salvaged clinic. Residents participate in monthly journal clubs and weekly Tuesday academics. The program offers credentialing in reconstructive forefoot and rearfoot/ankle surgery, and residents have the opportunity to work in four hospitals and two surgical centers. Rochester offers various attractions, including the Strong Museum of Play, Highland Park, and the George Eastman Museum, among others.
