The three-year podiatric surgical residency program offers a well-rounded experience with a focus on primary care and surgery. The program covers all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery, including trauma, reconstructive surgery, and diabetic limb salvage. Residents gain experience in private offices and daily hospital rounds, preparing them for any future practice setting. Rush Oak Park Hospital, located in Oak Park, Illinois, is the base of the program. Chicago offers a rich cultural experience with plenty of activities, including museums, theaters, and famous landmarks like the Willis Tower and Millennium Park.
