
The St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica, New York offers a diverse clinical and didactic training program in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with Rearfoot and Ankle Reconstruction (PMSR/RRA). The residency includes non-podiatry one-month medical/surgical rotations in the first 18 months, followed by 18 months of podiatric clinic/office and F&A surgery. Affiliates provide additional podiatric surgery and rotations in diabetes/endocrinology, dermatology, and podiatry. The program also offers wound care training at the Advanced Wound Care Center, and residents manage their own outpatient practice under the direction of attending podiatry faculty. Utica offers various attractions, including the Utica Zoo, Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute, and Adirondack Scenic Railroad, among others.
