
Sponsored by SUNY Downstate Medical Center, this program is an Academic Health Center that includes the University Hospital of Brooklyn, Downstate Medical College, a nursing College, and a Public Health College. The program is affiliated with the NY College of Podiatric Medicine, and residents share many educational experiences with those from NYCPM. They also have rotations at Kings County Hospital center and Queens General Hospital, both of which are part of NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation. Brooklyn, New York has a lot to offer visitors and residents alike. Some popular things to do include visiting landmarks like the Brooklyn Bridge, exploring Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Museum, enjoying the diverse food scene, experiencing Coney Island, walking through unique neighborhoods, attending live music events, shopping at boutique stores, and attending sporting events at the Barclays Center.
