Great experience

August 7, 2023

Attendings/Residents/Students (lifestyle, criticism, aura):

Awesome! Complete unity amongst all that went there. I would recommend to others.

Didactics: about 3 times a week so a lot heavier than previous rotations that I have been on

OR Experience: bread and butter elective stuff mostly

Clinic Experience: It was good but wish I could of had the opportunity so that I could showcase myself a bit

Research Opportunities: seems to be a lot of opportunity

City Life: I enjoyed it as I have a wife and new born. It was pleasant and I could see it being a good place to start a family if that is something you would appreciate.

Favorite Part: diversity yet united

Constructive Criticism: lots of locations so you were always going somewhere new which made it tough

Great program for the residents not so much for externs

August 7, 2023

Attendings/Residents/Students (lifestyle, criticism, aura): THE BEST i have been too in regards to the people. They treat you like family and has a great unity to it.

Didactics: TONS

OR Experience: not a lot of trauma but got to see a decent variety

Clinic Experience: shadow

Research Opportunities: TONS

City Life: family friendly

Favorite Part: the co-residents/co-externs

Constructive Criticism: would rank this program in my top, just recieved 4 because it is all shadow but very well rounded and I loved my exterience here. Great interrelations between the health care community and great learning enviroment.

Social/Friendly Program

August 7, 2023

Attendings/Residents/Students (lifestyle, criticism, aura): Friendly and good teachers and faculty this was one of the bigger pros

Didactics: Research, presentations, rounds, cadaver lab (great)

OR Experience: pretty good got to see a wide range, not hands on

Clinic Experience: great clinical experience, however most days are shadowing but a great learning environment so it made it worth it

Research Opportunities: lots

City Life:

Favorite Part: great resident inter-relations which was awesome and would be a reason I would want to come here. They would invite me out and would occasionally all hang with each other outside of the hospital.

Constructive Criticism: lots of driving around about 20-30minutes from main hospital
