The Yale New Haven Hospital offers a comprehensive 3-year training program in foot and ankle medicine and surgery, which includes rotations in other critical disciplines to ensure advanced training for Podiatric Surgeons. The program is affiliated with the Yale University School of Medicine and is further supported by ten additional hospital and surgical center affiliates. The teaching faculty comprises renowned podiatrists, orthopedists, and surgeons dedicated to advancing the profession and has a strong foundation in medical education. The program utilizes traditional surgical training techniques, progressively leading residents towards advanced training to develop independent and confident diagnosticians and surgeons. In addition to the residency program, visitors to New Haven, Connecticut, can explore the Yale University campus, visit the Peabody Museum of Natural History, and enjoy the local food scene, including the famous Louis’ Lunch, believed to be the birthplace of the hamburger.
